I first found my love for interior design at the age of 13, when I renovated my bedroom. I covered the walls with contemporary hues of purples and plums with bold stripes. I handpainted my own furniture and hung a collection of mobiles that filled my bedroom ceiling. I even found a special acrylic lamp on vacation that I carried home on the plane to use as a finishing touch. I was the envy of all my friends!
Every home that I have designed since then was another step up. I got better and better through endless moves to new houses. My husband Tim and I started our home building company after we were asked to build a custom home for a close friend. Years later I became focused primarily on selling and designing homes as a licensed realtor and interior designer.
When I am not designing or working with real estate, I enjoy teaching yoga, which enhances my creative spirit. I love to work because I love to connect, help and guide people. This is my purpose in life. I love partnering with my daughter and best friend Marisa. We complement each other with our gifts and talents.
I have always been a naturally creative person. I love cooking, interior design and music, and enjoyed being a pre-teen music pop artist before attending Le Cordon Blue at the age of 17, where I was one of the youngest graduates of the culinary institute.
I paid close attention through the years when our family was constantly moving and building, and I picked up the gift for interior design. I joined my family’s home-building business, assisting my mother Lisa on new home construction projects. I have since built my resume to include the interiors of our latest 9500 sq ft home in Hermosa beach.
My youthful vitality and technical know-how help bring a fresh perspective to balance my mother’s decades of experience. I am currently attending design school to pursue my passion.
I assist Lisa on remodeling projects to build on my natural strengths and talent.
